• The price is as follows: $100 for both Class A license that’s for all firearms, shotguns and rifles and; Class B for “non- high capacity firearms” and high capacity long guns
• The CCW is valid for 6 years in Massachusetts
• Massachusetts 100 for both Class A license that’s for all firearms, shotguns and rifles and; Class B for “non- high capacity firearms” and high capacity long guns permits to non-residents.

Traveling with a Firearm in Massachusetts

The following rules apply to traveling with a firearm in Massachusetts:

• Massachusetts law criminalizes the possession of a firearm, or the control of a firearm in a vehicle, whether loaded or unloaded,

• A person possessing a license to carry may carry a loaded handgun or short-barreled firearm in a vehicle only if the weapon is under his or her direct control.

• A person licensed to carry may possess a large capacity rifle or shotgun in a vehicle only if the weapon is unloaded and contained within the locked trunk
