Traveling with a Firearm in Utah

The following rules apply to traveling with a firearm in Utah:

• Only if the firearm is inaccessible and is unloaded and locked in a storage container, you can carry a firearm within your vehicle.
• No person may possess a loaded long gun in any vehicle.
• If an individual is legally permitted to transport a firearm in a vehicle, than they must do so while unloading the firearm and locking it in a secured container
