  Texas allows the carrying of loaded handguns without a permit when they are going straight to their vehicle or watercraft. The firearm does not have to be concealed when going to the vehicle.46.02. There is no requirement for the handgun to be out of sight in the vehicle while the person is traveling. 46.15(b)(2).
