Traveling with a Firearm in Pennsylvania
The following rules apply to traveling with a firearm in Pennsylvania:
- firearm (loaded or unloaded) cannot be carried in the car unless the individual has a concealed carry license
- firearm can be carried in the car if traveling without additional stops to or from target shooting, taking gun for repairs, hunting or fishing with valid license, to or from training dogs, or moving the firearm from a home or business
