  In Connecticut NFA weapons such as silencers, DD, SBS, and SBRs can be legally owned, as long as the owners follow the assault weapons provisions. This does not apply if the weapons were owned before October 1, 1993. Machine guns can be owned, as long as they do not select-fire. This does not apply to machine guns that were bought before October 1, 1993.
